Remember Indian Idol Amit Sana? Here’s What He Is Up To These Days
How many of you really remember Amit Sana, who was the first runner-up of Indian Idol season 1? However, he might not have won the season but he won millions of hearts with his soulful voice and talent.
He was from a small town Bhilai, Chhattisgarh but he came out one of the biggest competitors for Abhijeet Sawant (The winner of Indian Idol Season 1). Well, it has been 12 years now, and he has been missing from the main frame for a long time.
Despite being so much talent and popularity he didn’t get many good projects after the show. It was like his singing career was almost finished. But, he didn’t let his hopes down and keep working hard with his all determination, and finally, he managed to bag some stage shows in his pocket. These shows helped him get back on track.
In a recent interview with Dainik Bhaskar, he revealed the bitter truth of his life that after the show he also tried his hand in composing and failed since it was little difficult for him to understand the taste of the audience. Also, his singing practice was suffering due to it, therefore he decided to take a break for it.
Now, our superstar is a married man. He got married to an interior designer, Manisha Sana in 2012.
Speaking about his life after the show, he added “Indian Idol was a dream cum true period for me. It changed my life in a positive way, but honestly, the real struggle began after the show. The most difficult phase was to generate work for my own self. There are so many artists who are willing to do anything to get work; I do not believe in this philosophy. I believe in hard work and no short cut in my work.”
However, he wants to use his music for social causes. According to him, “I am a late learner. Initially, it did take time to understand the depth of the songs, but now I am ready for playback singing. My vision is clear now and I am sure it will really help me in achieving my dream.”
All we can hope is everything works out for him as he plans. We wish him all the best for his upcoming shows.
